About Pre-Kindergarten 4

Our PreK-4 program builds upon foundational skills with a more structured academic approach, preparing students for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Core Curriculum

• Religion - Stories of God's Love Students explore Bible stories and Catholic teachings through engaging narratives that help them understand God's love and develop their faith. This curriculum introduces children to prayer, Catholic traditions, and moral values in an age-appropriate way.
• Phonics - Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum This research-based program develops essential pre-reading skills through systematic instruction in phonemic awareness. Students learn to identify, manipulate, and blend sounds, creating a strong foundation for future reading success.
• Handwriting - Handwriting Without Tears Our structured handwriting program teaches proper letter formation, pencil grip, and writing posture. Students develop fine motor control while learning to write uppercase and lowercase letters with confidence.
• Mathematics - Our hands-on mathematics curriculum encourages mathematical thinking through manipulatives, problem-solving, and real-world connections. Students explore number concepts, patterns, measurement, and geometry through engaging activities.
