Admissions Process

Steps in the Admissions Process
We are delighted that you are considering our Catholic school community for your child's educational journey. Our admissions process is designed to help you discover how our faith-centered environment, dedicated teachers, and strong academic programs can nurture your child's growth in mind, body and spirit.
1. Submit Online Application
Applications open October 1.
You willl be asked to include the following in your application:
* Copies of previous school records, including any educational or diagnostic testing, standardized tests, transcripts (including home school), and report cards from the current year and previous year.
* Name and email address of your selected references for:
* Teacher - current or previous
* Administrator - middle school only
* Application fee of $100.00 at the time of submission
Reminder: PK3 applicants must be 3 years old by August 1, PK4 must be 4 years old by August 1, and Kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 1.
2. Screening
After receiving the above requirements, the Admissions Office will schedule screening. This is a placement test for reading and math.
For Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4, a playdate screening will take place in the Spring semester prior to the year they enter.
3. Parent Interview
An interview appointment will be made with the parent(s)/child and a school administrator. This interview is a time to answer questions you might have, determine the school's ability to meet the needs of your child, and assess philosophical compatability.
4. Student Shadow
Students applying for Kindergarten through 8th grade will shadow the school for a certain amount of time during a school day. This is a great way for students to meet new friends and feel more comfortable coming to school at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. It will give you vital information on making your school decision.
5. Admission Decision
An admissions decision of Acceptance, Denial or Waitpool will be communicated to all families starting February 1 and on a rolling basis. Families have 10 calendar days from the date of the letter to accept enrollment.
If your child has been accepted and there are no spots available in the grade you are applying for, admissions will place your child in a wait pool. If a spot opens, we will assess the most qualified student from the wait pool to fill that opening.
6. Enrollment
If you are accepted admissions will send you a continuous enrollment contract through your FACTS account. You will have 10 calendar days to complete the contract and submit it in order to be enrolled and save your spot. You will be prompted to pay a $500 annual commitment fee upon submission of the contract.
